Celebrating 50 years of form, function and style. From a tin shed to one of the largest independent manufacturers of Architectural Windows and Doors in South Australia, and proudly featured in many magazines and award winning homes.
South Pacific was founded in 1973 by the modest and hardworking George Efstathiadis. Like most migrants of his generation he knew no English, however, a mastermind in mechanics and hydraulics he understood his strengths and weaknesses and complimented them with people around him he trusted.
The business started from a shed in the family home back yard situated in Edwardstown and expanded with steady organic growth which eventually required the family home to make way for a new factory and showroom. Furthermore in 1992, directly next door, South Pacific moved into a much larger purpose-built building and the manufacturing facility has continued to grow and evolve into a leading supplier to the housing industry
Early on, we manufactured typical standard aluminium windows and today have evolved into specialising in Architectural Windows and Doors for mid-to-high end new homes and additions which seamlessly integrate these premium products.

Innovation and a long lasting legacy
As the business has expanded, we have been fortunate enough to retain, develop and promote key talent from within the business. More than half our loyal staff have been with the company for more than 10 years and some nearing and even over 40 years, have been instrumental in our success. A business to be proud of, our workplace is flexible, accessible, and inclusive so that everyone feels valued, empowered, and happy to be a part of South Pacific and therefore attract and retain like minded employees.
The late George Efstathiadis left a legacy and was respected, admired, and helped pioneer products and processes in the industry. With continued family passion, pride, innovation and now in it’s third generation this will underpin our belief in ourselves for the next 50 years.
As we celebrate this milestone, a vibrant, fresh, and modern new Brand and Logo has been rolled out to capture our commitment to further refine, form, function and style.
